Pastor David Bradley Gray went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Pastor David was born on Wednesday, April 24, 1957 in Santa Monica, California to the late Billy Earl Gray and Alice Ann Pigue Gray. He faithfully served as Pastor of Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Ridgely, Tennessee since 1985. Pastor David attended Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He served as Tennessee Director for Rhema Bible Training College beginning in 2006 until 2015 when he became a Midsouth Regional Director for Tennessee and Kentucky. Pastor David spent his life bringing people to the Lord and nurturing their relationship with Him. In the Book of John, Jesus said to Peter “[if you love me] feed my sheep.” Two things are certain: Pastor David loved the Lord with all of his heart, and he was faithful to feed the sheep of Abundant Life Fellowship Church well by teaching them faith in the Word of God.
Pastor David’s spiritual birthday was March 2, 1980. He was born again in Dyer County Jail and frequently shared his testimony as an example that, with the Lord, anyone can turn their life around. Pastor David’s heart was to share the good news of the gospel: that “God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him” (John 3:16-17). The Bible says, “Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21) If you have not received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Pastor David would encourage you to pray this prayer:
Dear God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says, “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and Savior of my life. Thank you for saving me.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
